💼 The role

We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer with experience in building distributed systems, data pipelines and APIs. The role’s core activity center will be in building out a lot of the core indexing, databasing and processing systems that will help Rated expand its footprint to multiple blockchain networks.

🛠️ The skills

• Expert-level skills in SQL and Python
• Proficient in building real-time data pipelines and indexers using Flink, Bytewax, Beam, Spark Streaming or similar
• Deep understanding of columnar and/or time series databases such as Timescale, Clickhouse, StarRocks or similar.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, from code reviews to CI/CD.
• Some experience in Infrastructure as Code systems such as Ansible, Terraform or Pulumi.

👲🏼 The person

• Crypto data indexing experience
• Mission driven and intellectually curious
• Thrives in early stage environments
• Avid open source contributor
• Is based anywhere between CET-2 and CET+2, within the UK or the EU

👥 The team

We’re a highly technical 13 person team (and growing!), working in a hybrid/remote set-up, with a home base in London, UK.

We are all deeply embedded in the ecosystem and are working very close to the fold, in terms of research and development in Web3 infrastructure.

🎁 The offer

• Salary: $110,000 to $160,000
• Equity: 0.1% to 0.2%
